duality of self

In this project, I was to create a self-portrait with an artistic representation of myself without necessarily making it a realistic or accurate portrait. The narrative behind this print is the idea of expressing a vulnerability of self, but not always being honest about what you show to others. While you may know someone physically, you do not always know what hides behind them in their mind and spirit. There is a trust in your connection to someone where you believe what you are telling or showing you is who they really are, but then again how can you really be certain is true?
